BAOPAN is the result of the work of a metal craftsman who creates sound sculptures.
These steel melodic percussion instruments from the Handpan family.
The Handpan was inspired by the Caribbean Steelpan and most recently the Hang created in 2000.
BAOPAN is an accessible instrument for everyone, because very intuitive and offers a wide range of ranges according to the sensitivity of each.
Franck has been passionate about the Handpans for many years, and naturally interested in their manufacture in 2014. The path was sown with pits: sometimes demoralizing, sometimes euphonizing, but always exciting to become clear today.
